Steelblue joined Pelli Clarke Pelli to bring their design vision for this project to a successful completion by helping them win the competition for the project. The design’s massing was inspired by the local landscape, so Steelblue opted to highlight this feature in the imagery as a primary focus by juxtaposing the surrounding mountainscape against the facade, while also showcasing some of the unique amenities like the outdoor waterfall, and the outdoor plantings. My roll was to design the space as needed, model, texture, and render the final images for use in the competition.
