Hamlin School

Project Overview
Company : Steelblue
Role : Rendering / Technical / Modeling
The Hamlin School, in collaboration with Mark Cavagnero Architects, partnered with Steelblue’s team to create an interactive experience with the goal of engaging their donor community to raise funds for a campus expansion. The model was created using Enscape so that it could be interacted with in real time at donor events, using a simple Xbox controller. The added bonus of being able to walk through the model in a VR headset provided insight to the design team on their project as the design evolved. The design features an indoor climbing wall, full scale gymnasium, music rooms, offices, and enough classrooms to suit the needs of their students. The experience had to be stylized in order to give the community the feeling that the project was not finished with design, but rather this is an opportunity for them to provide their input. My roll was to convert the architects model to be optimized to run in a VR environment while also fitting the visual style we landed on, including all texture and modelling work.
